My Story

Prior to joining Ledingham Law, Mr. Haghiri worked in a boutique tax firm where he worked on an array of Federal tax matters, including refunds, FBAR penalties, Offers-In-Compromise, Innocent Spouse Relief Requests, and representation during audits of businesses. Mr. Haghiri graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law.

Before entering private practice, Mr. Haghiri interned at the Maryland Comptroller Hearings and Appeals Section, where he worked alongside hearing officers who conducted informal hearings filed by business and individual taxpayers who appealed an additional tax assessment or the denial of their refund. Further, Mr. Haghiri worked as a Student Attorney at the University of Baltimore Tax Clinic, representing business and individual taxpayers to favorably resolve state and federal tax controversies.

Mr. Haghiri is an active member of the American Bar Association, particularly the Section of Taxation and the Young Lawyers Division. When he is not working, he is walking his dog around Washington, D.C., or riding his bike around the State of Maryland.
